Year Job
Sep. 2014 Professional Trainer
Company: 4People
More info
Job Description:
I occasionaly collaborate with 4People to provide my professional training skills in areas where I am certified to teach.

Recently I was the professional trainer on a course in Time Management for Leroy Merlin’s team managers.

The course content was:
-Priorities Management
-E-mail Management Techniques
-Meetings Management
-Tools and Techniques for Decision Making
-Project Management

This endeavour involved preparing, conducting and evaluating the training course.

Achievements:
This course was a very productive one. The trainees were able to come up with very interesting solutions to their problems through the use of group decision making dynamics, such as brainstorming, fishbone diagrams, priority matrices, learning matrices, dot prioritization, nominal group techniques, amongst others, where I played the role of facilitator, after explaining the concepts to them.

These occasional collaborations allow me to stay in touch with one of my professional passions: sharing knowledge that allows others to improve while I also learn and improve myself.

More info
Job Description:
This was my first professional job with CGI.

Done in 2002 it was a big challenge to achieve since at the time the computational resources were a small fraction of what you can get today.

Therefore, it required a bit of imagination in some parts to get close to something that would impress the audience.

It was done in a couple of weeks, which placed an extra pressure on time and resources applied.

The project earned me the first award from APSO (Portuguese Association for Oral Health) to an external person.

The concept and storyboarding was done by a friend at the time, Luis Pereira, a brilliant arts creator.

The audio was processed by a teacher at an arts polytechnic institute since at the time professional sound software was not easy to get.

Achievements:
• Working under pressure
• Developing creative ways for solving resources limitations.
